King kariuki in a recent video on Tiktok and YouTube protested the curtailing of the freedom of Assembly against the Kikuyu community.

This came following the crackdown on the Agikuyu community’s Sacred sites and “churches” claiming that they were promoting or recruiting people for illegal activities Like FGM.

They’re also accused of being part of the outlawed mungiki sect.

The King insisted that Kenyan is now an independent state and should allow the kikuyu community to practice their traditional customs while adhering to the law of the land.
